at-home manicure

Since we can’t go to the nail salon right now, sharing my at-home manicure routine and favorite manicure tools.

Step 1: Remove nail polish with strengthening nail polish remover.

Step 2: Apply cuticle remover to all your cuticles.

Step 3: Push back your cuticles with orangewood manicure sticks.

Step 4: Remove cuticles and hangnails with this Sephora Collection cuticle nipper (the best out there imo).

Step 5: File your nails into desired shape with Diamond Cosmetics emery boards.

Step 6: Rinse off the nail dust and wipe nails with alcohol wipes.

Step 7: Paint your nails with your favorite nail polish. I usually do pink or white hues. I don’t use a base coat, but I always use a top coat. My favorite is by OPI.

Step 8: To prevent chips and strengthen/harden my nails, I apply a coat of Nailtiques Formula 2 on my nails every day after a manicure. It goes on clear and dries really quickly.

Enjoy!
